When you hire Alexandria, you hire her arsenal of knowledge, care and commitment. A native San Antonian, Alexandria began her real estate career in 2017, serving clients with an intimate understanding of the city and its real estate market. After moving to Houston with her family in 2020, she immersed herself in a new market and quickly built a business rooted in relationships, referrals and a genuine appreciation for the city she now calls home. Today, Alex has helped hundreds of people buy and sell real estate across both the San Antonio and Houston markets. Her experience in two of Texas’ largest cities has given her a unique perspective on the market, along with the tenacity, honesty and resourcefulness her clients have come to rely on.
Growing up in a family with a construction and remodeling business, Alex’s path into new construction came naturally. After moving to Houston, she spent more than two years helping build the new construction division of Houston’s largest real estate team, developing an in-depth understanding of builders, their business models, construction processes and how to best advocate for clients purchasing new homes. That expertise has since expanded into a key role within Schroeder & Co.’s new development and builder relationships, where she works alongside builders and developers to identify opportunities, strengthen partnerships and support projects from strategy through sales.
Alex also serves as Director of Growth for Schroeder & Co., helping lead the intentional expansion of the team across Texas. She plays an integral role in identifying agents who align with the team’s standards, culture and relationship-driven approach to real estate, helping ensure that growth never comes at the expense of the client experience.
Her background in construction, personal experience with renovations and eye for design give Alex another advantage when preparing listings for market, evaluating homes for buyers or working alongside builder partners. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, she brings the same attention to detail to every aspect of her work.
Whether she’s representing a client, collaborating with a builder or helping grow the next generation of Schroeder & Co., Alex is known for her tough negotiation skills, infectious energy and the level of passion and intention she brings to everything she does. Prior to her real estate career, Alex graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio with a double major in criminal justice and psychology. When not working, you can always find Alex exploring new coffee spots around town! She has an entrepreneurial heart that keeps her innovative and busy. As the Vice President and Social Chairman for her community’s homeowners association, Copperfield Southtown Village, she stays involved in the local happenings giving her a unique perspective on the local real estate market. To that point, Alex is passionate about staying involved in the community with her husband, Enrique and three kids, Olivia, Val and Raphael, who keep her busy with school and extracurricular activities.
