Overview
Living in Houston Heights
The Heights was founded in 1891 and was its own city before Houston annexed it. That history is still everywhere: tree-lined streets, original bungalows and Victorians, and Heights Boulevard running down the middle with its wide esplanade and jogging path. It's one of the few places in Houston where you can walk to coffee, dinner, and shopping. And downtown is just a few minutes away.
